Dear Kipengi,
Me as an ordinary Muganda, I would be insane to think that the man from the other tribe is the enemy.
The few Baganda you hear belching that kind of nonsense about other tribes are realy pushing a personal, and the enemy's, rather than an agenda for the general good of any Baganda. Let's get this into our heads, for goodness' sake!!
Baganda in all their multitudes, Acholis, Banyankole, Madi, Itesot, Banyoro, Langi etc.... have to look deeper and unite against the common enemy.
Once again let me ask a question that ALL of you are hiding under the carpet.
Who brought back feudalism, to divide the people of Uganda? Have you forgotten that this had been vehemently resisted by Museveni's Military high command? Museveni told them that OK you guys 'go into that room and talk as long as you want but at the end of the day you must remember that the order to reinstate feudalism has already come'.
Whose order was this? And why? And is it fair to start blaming any Muganda peasant for this?
If we the middle class cannot see through this, but instead we start consuming ourselves with hate then we fall into imperialism's design.
Let me repeat. The people who put museveni in power are the same entity that put Mutebi on a 'mirage' of a throne. They are the same people who put Kagame, L. Kabila in power. I was shocked to learn that it was the same Betchel that put Saddam Hussein in power in 1968.
The Congo basin has over 80% of the world's strategic minerals, without which 'Western civilization' would crumble to dust. Many of these are not listed on any stock exchange but are taken directly to Betchel, which stores them for the Pentagon.
The tribes around there are to be manipulated, set against each other, poisoned, and annihilated!! This is the grand agenda. We are not children any more, let's wake up.
Dela Ponte, the chief prosecutor for the Rwanda genocide started investigating some RPF. Kagame has gone to every member of the security council to ask them to remove her. They refused. He went to 10 Downing str. The folks at 10 Downing str. phoned Bush for a favour, asking: Please USA remove Dela Ponte. She has been fired.
The real mass killers in the Great Lakes region are parading like the saviours. Some people know the truth. What kind of justice is that? Some of us continue blaming the Hutus.
Unless we wake up we shall all perish like dogs, blaming Hutus, Baganda etc..............

The saying:"A Fortune in the hands of a Fool is a Great Misfortune",
appears to be what is guiding most of us in the debate of Federalism.
Genuises usually make very complex issues/ideas common place, while
Fools make common place/simple ideas/issues very complex.Where
do we actually want to fall?.
From first principles Federalism is the acme of democracy and if we are
all embracing democracy in order to achieve Federalism, there is not a
reason under the sun for any ethnic chauvinists to think that by getting
Federalism, they will out tax what they perceive as "banaamawanga"
in order to force them to emigrate.
This concern should be raised but if we are really for democracy we should not let it bury us.Otherwise how would one explain why the
hordes of thieving African politicians were able to invest all the monies
they helped themselves to in the so called developed countries?.
If there are some of us who are playing underhanded games with Federalism, the ultimate price will be on their heads for in agitating for
Federalism all our cards must be put out on the table and not keep the
dangerous one up our sleeves for use to promote ethnic cleansing!.
Thank you.
Kipenji.

Allow me express my opinion on the issue of federalism proposed to the Constitutional Review Commission by the Cabinet.
If the proposal is adopted, am afraid it will be a recipe for disaster. It will create unnecessary levels of administration that will be a burden to the common person, increasing chances of misuse of public funds.
In addition, with the middle class in Uganda now investing in real estate, being the remaining profitable activity and with the prevailing massive poverty emanating from unemployment and lack of business opportunities, the stage will be set for confrontation between Buganda and the middle class from other nationalities under federalism.
I have listened to most elite from Buganda, especially those who closely associate with the Mengo establishment. Deep in their mind, they believe other tribes are making easy money from their land.
With federalism, they will get a chance to have a go at them either through taxation or otherwise. However, they will be dealing with people who have money and other means.
Consequently, a conflict will arise that can easily tear Uganda apart. We already have a problem in Kibaale. This should serve as an eye-opener.
