Nebbi district reserve force commander Major Ali Cama has directed that the soldiers' routine patrols be stopped forthwith to restore public confidence.

Frank Mugabi reports that , however, the order does not affect intelligence operations.
Parombo and Nyaravur sub-counties to relocate the 300-strong UPDF detachment at Angal.


During a recent security meeting at Parombo Community Centre, the residents said they felt insecure since the soldiers were deployed in the area early this year. They accused the soldiers of corruption and high-handedness.
