Beware of chat room women

Our country has won acclaim because of the fight against HIV/Aids but Radio Simbas chat room is working against this record.

I have lived in Toronto, Canada, for a couple of decades and my observation is that Ugandans generally know each other. We know exactly who is who and who comes from where. We know the women widowed as a result of Aids and men who lost their wives to the same.

What is happening, however, is that Ugandan women come into the Radio Simba forum and make acquaintances. These are normally very rich women who have lived abroad for a while, have good jobs and a good income. She finds a man through the forum, buys him a ticket to come over and uses her money and beauty to rape him.

Poor as many Ugandans abroad are, they find a Ugandan woman from Boston a godsend.

With her you can drive a BMW and buy no air tickets. She just shows up having paid hotel bills and all you do is pay in human dollars! Some of these women have HIV but one cannot easily tell for we do not know their life history.

I am calling upon Ugandan men abroad to avoid getting linked to just any woman from the Simba chat room. Chat with her but dont allow her to come and see you wherever you are. And lastly, can Radio Simba please make it a requirement for everybody who chats to have a permanent and upgradeable profile?
