Museveni in London
LONDON � President Yoweri Museveni yesterday arrived in London, United Kingdom, for a three-day working visit. He was accompanied by his wife, Janet. A State House statement issued last night said the President was scheduled to hold bilateral talks with his Rwandan counterpart Paul Kagame at Lancaster House in London. He is also to meet British Prime Minister Tony Blair, Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs Jack Straw and Secretary of State for International Development Hillary Benn. President Museveni�s delegation includes ministers Amama Mbabazi of defence and Gerald Ssendaula of finance. In London, Museveni was received by Lord Saint John of Bletso Crown Equerry who represented Queen Elizabeth II. Also present at Heathrow Airport was Second Deputy Premier and minister of Foreign Affairs James Wapakhabulo and other Ugandan officials.
