Given that even Mu7 occassionally needs to deny press reports on comments attributed to him, e.g. on firing his critics from their jobs, I'dn't rush to pass judgement on the Omukama -- especially on a subject like the sad term.

btw: does anyone know if Mu7 ever made good on his campaign promise to tarmac the road to Hoima, or does the Omukama still have to 'eat dust' all the way to His palace?

Also, during the same campaign Mu7 threatened to bring electricity to Ssese Islands (a.k.a Kalangala District). Did he ever make good on this?

How can the Omukama support a dictator who has lead to the killings of civilians in the North??  This is disturbing!  Omukama needs some advise because this is not good.
Omukama Backs 3rd Term
By Fred Kayizzi and
Amlan Tumusiime
THE Omukama of Bunyoro, Solomon Gafabusa Iguru, has warned politicians against any attempts to compel President Yoweri Museveni to quit the presidency.
Iguru expressed fear that forcing Museveni to retire would have disastrous consequences for the country.
He was meeting a team of American evangelists at Duhaga St. Peters Cathedral in Hoima town on Wednesday. The evangelist led by Rev. Dr. John Guest are on a two-week tour of Bunyoro-Kitara diocese.
We cultural leaders are not allowed to participate in political discussions but this time I cannot help it. I am telling you that forcing Museveni to leave the chair is likely to cause trouble for this country, Iguru warned.
