You very well know that Mu7 does not keep his promises. We do not have electricity in Ssese Islands nor tarmac on the road to Hoima. This is not a suprise to me.
I have to judge the Omukama on his comments. What did he mean by having chaos if Mu7 leaves office?? Was he trying to tell sensible thinkers that there is no peace in Uganda without Mu7?? We have a war going on in the north and people are dying left and right with Mu7 in power. Did the Omukama think about all these lives that have sufferred and are continueing to suffer under Mu7?? I don't think so. The Omukama does not care about the people in the north.
He is a selfish traditional leader who is blindly thinking that Kibaale land is going to be given to Banyoro now that the gov't has purchased it from Baganda. The Omukama is a true negative tribalist! The Omukama better forget about the Kibaale land, for within time the gov't of Uganda is going to do some kavuyo on Kibaale land titles and we are going to see UPDF chiefs and go'vt officials holding titles to Kibaale land instead of Banyoro.
The same thing that happen to the public land/Mukono forest where gov't officials (Dr. Specioza Kazibwe, other ministers, etc) hold land titles and authority to cut and burn down trees for charcol. This gov't and Mu7 do not keep their promises. Watch what I've said. The Omukama needs some serious advice, because he needs to have a son to take over his thrown. Maybe the man is infertile. Who knows! He is in his late 40's in all this time he has not had a son. He has been married to two women and none of them has had a boy! The 1st wife had a baby girl after years of trial?? What kind of trials do a fertile man have to go through to have a child, unless of couse if something is wrong??
I'm not judging the Omukama's personal life, but he needs to get some advice on political issues at hand. Uganda is tired of some traditional leaders who do not care about our brothers and sisters in the North. That is why I support the Kabaka of Buganda because the man cares about the lives in the North. He has called for a peaceful dialogue and an end to the war. He has scholarships ready for Northern students whose dreams are shattered by the war. The Kabaka of Buganda has charity trusts for his people that help with the situation in the North in one way or the other. To me this is the kind of traditional leader Ugandans need in our struggle for peace, justice, and economic growth.

Given that even Mu7 occassionally needs to deny press reports on comments attributed to him, e.g. on firing his critics from their jobs, I'dn't rush to pass judgement on the Omukama -- especially on a subject like the sad term.
btw: does anyone know if Mu7 ever made good on his campaign promise to tarmac the road to Hoima, or does the Omukama still have to 'eat dust' all the way to His palace?
Also, during the same campaign Mu7 threatened to bring electricity to Ssese Islands (a.k.a Kalangala District). Did he ever make good on this?
