LIRA: THE WORK OF âTOGETHER WE CANââ
After the dramatic news that emerged in the past hours from Uganda, widely covered by MISNA with correspondence from its editor-in-chief Father Giulio Albanese, the Association of Groups âInsieme si puÃââ (Together we can), for years engaged in Uganda, with a statement issued to our agency donated 7,000 Euro for first emergency operations.
âIn the next hours, together with the Co-operation and Development of Piacenza (Italy) â added the statement â we will also evaluate the possibility of anticipating the humanitarian intervention, financed by the Italian Foreign Affairs Ministry, already set for next Thursday in the hard-hit zone by the rebellion. No need to add that the efforts of âInsieme si puÃââ will in future intensify both concretely and in denouncing on one hand the culpable absence of the press and television, and on the other the inertia of the World leaders, who continue considering the drama of the populations of the North: âAn internal problem of Ugandaâ.
