Hear hear fellow citizens:
Now our dear learnt friend is dragging us to I year some document from 1980. What about the so called document.
Listen Ssemakula what are you NRM people scared of? If you think the NRM is more popular then carry out a simply text. Remove the embedded articles in the Uganda constitution which restricts the ability of political parties to operate freely. It is as simply as that!
..and once all the political parties can operate are operating in a free environment where by the people of Uganda can freely choose between the different political parties and determine which party best represent their interest/ideals.....and if DP, CP NRM emerges as the chosen party, then so be it.
But as is the case now, the NRM imposes restrictions (through an embedded article in the constitution) on the other political parties ....The NRM..only the NRM is allowed to operate... and then dummy ssemskula and his buddy say that the NRM is more popular then the UPC or DP or CP. His rational for reasoning in such matter is that some document from way back in 1980 says so!!
It is more like tying the hands of a boxer and then ask the boxer to face an opponent who hands are not tired. and when the boxer with the tired hand is defeated... you say he was defeated because he is a weak boxer.. this is then how this NRM reason fellow citizen.
Once again if you say NRM is popular the REMOVE the restrictions in the Uganda constitution which hinders political to free operate. Simple.

Mr. Matek,
Stupid propaganda is a a bit of an oxymoron, wouldn't you say. So, lets stick to facts. We are still waiting for you to present yours.
As to the number of UPC supporters in Uganda, there is an interesting documents about the outcomes of 1980 elections. It gives thtese result by constitutency and by ward. Peruse it sometime and analyze its contents, if you can. You just might get an education about the strength of your vaunted UPC.
"The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth becomes the greatest enemy of the state."
