Yet another NRM propaganda. It does appear, based on the propaganda below, that the NRM intends to massacre even more Ugandans ..and blame the illusive "KONY REBELS" .
The fact of the matter is that NRM military dictatorship, as the "government" of the day, is, according to International Law to which nations of the world abide, charged with the responsiblity..nay the Obligations to protect and safe guard it's citizens.
Accordingly, members of the International Community and Ugandans should and must lay any and all responsibility/blame onto the "Government" of Uganda if any massacres should occur against our people. Period.
Uganda Peoples Congress feels very strongly about this. Somebody MUST be held responsible for the suffering of our people. and that somebody is the "government" of the day Notably the NRM military Dictatorship.

âGO out and kill all the men, women and children you find in Acholi. Leave nobody standing, for they have risen against me and none shall be spared.â
With those words, LRA leader Joseph Kony has set his remaining troops against the people of his home region, whom he accuses of betrayal.
After they have cleared Acholi of all humans and other living things, Konyâs troops have been directed by their apparently insane leader to start killing the people of Lango.
Captured LRA fighters confirmed that Kony has given orders to his field commanders to start exterminating all the Acholi in Uganda because they have been contaminated. Acholi from Sudan and elsewhere shall be used to repopulate the region, the rebel chief argues.
âKony told us to kill all the Acholi in Gulu, Kitgum and Pader districts and others living in other parts of Uganda, accusing them of rising against the LRA and not being pure Acholi but a mixture of blood from Banyankole and other tribes. He said only children who have been born in the bush are the pure breed of the future Acholi,â said James Odo a captive.
According to security sources, Konyâs order comes in the wake of massive recruitment of the local militias such as the Frontiers Guard in Kitgum, the Elephant Brigade in Gulu and Amuka in Lango.
âItâs true we have received intelligence report that Kony has told his commanders here in Uganda to start killing all the civilians in the north since they are now accepting to be armed by the
government to fight the LRA rebels,â a UPDF commander said. âWe are doing everything possible to avert the impending widespread killings which the LRA fighters are planning to carry out following orders from their leader.â
Odo also revealed that most of the children being abducted by the LRA rebels are taken straight to Konyâs camps in southern Sudan, southeast of Juba Town, where the boys are trained as fighters and the girls are used as wives for the LRA to produce more children.
Odo a âmajorâ in the LRA, who was on January 27 captured together with other LRA combatants by the UPDF 509 brigade in Pader during a fierce battle at Wool, Agago County said he had been a rebel fighter since 1994.
Odo said most of the children, newborn babies and their mothers in LRA captivity are now in the LRA control Altar Brigade directly under Joseph Kony near Juba. This brigade is said to be raising Konyâs planned pure Acholi generation.
Kony is reported to be teaching the children himself how to live according to Godâs 10 commandments so that, the new Acholi breed will be a respectable tribe.
Lt. Col. Paul LâOkech, the UPDF 509 Brigade commander in Pader said, âKony is desperate and will do anything to get publicity. UPDF has now reached the core of the LRA by capturing several mothers and children of their commanders.
âBy yesterday (Tuesday) we had captured 28 child mothers and 47 children. We have now broken LRAâs backbone.â
Kitgum LC5 chairman Nahaman Ojwee confirmed receiving reports of the impending genocide following the recruitment of militia but said, âWe shall not be scared. We have gone too far with our recruitment drive.â
Pader LC5 chairman Edwin Yakobo Komakech said, âWhether we recruit LDUs or not the rebels will continue killing.â
Gulu LC5 chairman Col. Walter Ochora said, âThe problem is the politicisation of the recruitment of the LDUs which is causing the problem. We shall continue to recruit the LDUs quietly and, hand them over to the army for training.â
