UK gives sh3.5b aid
KAMPALA
— The British government has released sh3.5b for food for the war-hit areas in north and eastern Uganda. The British High Commission said the money was in response to a request from the World Food Programme. The money will be used to buy food from farmers in Uganda. The donation is in addition to sh25.5b in aid from Britain over the last 12 months.
