The swedish Ambassador, like his other Western counter parts in the so called donor
community, should be reminded that they can and could have played a vital role in
ensuring that appropriate pressure is applied on the Uganda dictatorship to negotiate
peace with "KONY" ..and thus bring this delapidating war in Northern Uganda to a
speedy end. That members of the so called western donor nation haave cosen to play
politics as usual with dictator Museveni while milliuons suffer in Northern Uganda, is
no doubt a very sad occurence.

THE Swedish Ambassador to Uganda, Erik Aberg, has said the development of the country
has been hampered by the war in northern Uganda.
Aberg was opening a business development seminar organised by the East African
Business Council for members of the International Council of Swedish Industry at Speke
Resort Munyonyo on Wednesday.
The seminar under the theme 'Gateway East Africa Programme.'
