Rev. Steven Manana of Bulago Church of Uganda, surprised his folk last sunday when he
preached against third term.

This was in a service to pray for peace in the country. He said he had 'declared a
war' against third term and encouraged Christians to join him in working towards
seeing off Museveni in 2006.

The Reverend said Uganda had never had peace since Independence in 1962. 'Every time
the country is about to experience peaceful handover of power some thing goes wrong,'
he added.

He expressed fears that president Museveni may end up running into exile like many
African leaders. He, therefore warned the President to watch out and listen to his
inner voice and respect his concience.

The born again reverend added that those agitating for third term will desert the
President if things go wrong.
