POLICE detectives last week raided former presidential aspirant Col. Dr. Kiiza
Besigye's farm in Kasangati, Wakiso district and picked his former housemaid.
Hajat Aisha Kigule, who worked for Besigye in 2000 shortly before his failed
presidential bid in 2001, was whisked off by officers from the CID headquarters on
Friday, Joram Baryamanya, the farm manager, Kasangati Mixed Farm said.
The CID director, Elizabeth Kuteesa, said Kigule, in her early forties, was held
because "we had something of particular interest in her."
She denied reports that they were witch-hunting Reform Agenda. Kuteesa dismissed
speculation that Kigule was missing.
