The New Vision printing and Publishing Company has donated sh590,000 to the Kabaka Education Fund.
Circulation manager Tom Wasswa handed over the money to the Katikkiro, Joseph Mulwanyamuli Ssemwogerere, on Thursday at Bulange, Mengo in Kampala.
Wasswa said the donation was a token for Ssemwogerere�s visit to The New Vision�s offices in Industrial Area early this year.
�This is in appreciation of the good work you are doing for the kingdom. We could not come here empty handed,� Wasswa said.
He hailed Ssemwogerere for ensuring that federal discussions between the government and Mengo did not end in chaos.
Ssemwogerere praised the bond between the company and Mengo .
He said the money would be used to help unfortunate children in the kingdom.
