As usual your bias against anything Kiganda clouds your judgement.
What you see here is a change of roles brought about by the current situation. If M7 can become a cultural leader why shouldn't the Kabaka talk about politics.

Dont get overheated thinking that the Baganda are getting on the ' winning' northern war.

The Baganda have for years, on this very net been saying that it is M7 who is "Kony'  and most of the people directly affected did not/could not accept it.  Now that they have accepted that M7 can stop this war if he wants, why should the Kabaka not say so himself ?

The Kabaka of Buganda Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II says all Ugandans should join efforts in ending the war in Northern Uganda.

Kabaka Mutebi says all Ugandans should remember that the war affects the countrys economy and not the North alone.

He said this while addressing a congregation he invited for special prayers at his palace in Mengo.

The Kabaka adds that Africa as a whole should also strive to build peace on the continent.

The prayer meeting was attended by religious leaders from all sects.

The days preacher Cardinal Emmanuel Wamala decried the evil that has engulfed the country.
