Matek,
Here is something you and your gang members don't know.
The international economic system of relationships is driven by
ECONOMIC INTERESTS, not by morality. This is the way it has been for
centuries and this is the way it will for more centuries to come.
1)Really..netters did you hear that...our dear learnt friend
says that the the International Economic system ,( apparently design
by the west in favor of the west, is driven by economic interest of
the west ( also known as Imperialism ) will not change. In other word
we who have been given the short end of the stick must simply
give up and live according to some economic rules which is
not in our favor. I say Nyet!!.. Well our job, the job of all
africans and sons of Africa is to change the said Western Economic
system.. to favor africans and our mother continent Africa.
2) Netters I have not seen the Chinese mingling into the affairs
of Africa for close to 300 years ..have you? on the Contrary , I have
seen the British, the Germans, The french, Porrtual, Belguim Italians divide
mother africa during the so called scrumble for Africa. Of late I have seen
American Colonialist and neo-colonislist playing their active part to
confuse and manipulate africans, meanwhile robbing us blind of our
vital mineral resources not the Koreans, the Japanist, you get my
point.
3) Americans pursue their Interest by arming Museveni with guns...
Americans trained Kagame forces , before the some forces were deployed deep
inside DRC to creat choas. Kagama ( by the way) was trained in fort
Lavenworth Kansas by the Americans.. not the Chinese or Koreans.. you want
some more my friend wer now this things ... so don't even go
there!!!!
Second, HOW LONG a despot stays in office depends not
so much on who supports him but rather on the EFFECTIVENESS of the THIS
IS PRETTY MUCH HOGWASH!! BALLONY. The fact of the matter is that the
US has continiosuly and persistanly ovet time offered tremendous
Military ( which includes training Museveni killers) and
financial support to the NRM military dictatorship. period..this is but
undeniable fact. and the Evidence is there for everybody to see. With
out the 20 years of American Military and Financial support to Museveni, the
regime in Kmapala would not have stayed this long in power. ..but then
this is a classical case as to how the US conducts in foreign
policy..netters will recall that the US was Instrumental in support Cuban
Dictator Batista who loaded it on the Cuban people of donkey years....If
CASTRO had not emerged the Cuban people may still be under dictator
Batista ( or a similiar verson of Batista!!!
4) finally it matter not how strong the opposition is to the
dictatorship like that of Yoweri Museveni... the fact of the matter is
that the KING makers in Washington and London, must first decide that they
are now tired of a given dictator, then and only then can the opposition
stand even a slight chance of getting rid of the dictator!!..Ayittey do not
be an apologist for the WEST , we are very much aware of that the
forces of imperialism and neo-colonialism are doing in Africa. Don't
even think for one minute that we are stupid!!!
MK
arrayed against him. Mugabe has no Western support; yet, he is still
in power. The West supported Rawlings in Ghan; yet we tossed his regime
out in 2000. I can give you many more examples.
The EFFECTIVENESS
of the opposition depends upon the following factors:
1. The
coherence or unity of the opposition forces, 2. The character of the
opposition leaders, 3. The opposition choice of
strategies.
According to Newton's Law of Physics, for EVERY force in
nature, there is a counter-force. A force dominates if the counter-force
is eithe WEAK or NON-EXISTENT. African despots have dominated the
political scene, not so much because of their ingenuity or Western
support, but rather because the opposition is WEAK or NON-EXISTENT.
Challenge this assertion.
In many African countries in the
post-colonial era, the opposition has been hopelessly FRAGMENTED and
given to stupid internal bickering and squabbling. Each opposition leader
desperately wants to be the next head of state and, therefore, adamantly
refuses to unite with others to fight a common enemy. They would rather
stab each other in the back. Nothing pleases a despot more than seeing a
DIVIDED opposition. Worse, the choice of tactics by the opposition is so
crass. Some opposition leaders think that, if you go out and shout "Moi
must go!" "Abacha Must Go!" "Mugabe Must Go!" "Eyadema Must Go!" loud
enough then the despot will just crumble. Ridiculous.
In Kenya's
1996 elections, there were 26 political parties, which fielded 13
presidential candidates to challeng Moi. What happened? And what happened
in 2000 when Kenya's opposition leaders finally had the sense to unite in
a rainbow coalition?
Moi stayed so long in power, not because of
Western support, but rather because of the hopelessness of Kenya's
opposition parties. In the same vein, Museveni will stay in office for a
long time, not because the West supports him, but because the opposition
in Uganda is either weak or hopeless. Challeng this.
