[Ugnet] JUST HOW LOW WILL BAGANDA GO? Makes one wonder !!

Ugandans   Baganda again took it to the streets to demand this time the resignation of our Katikiro Mulwaanyamuli. But let us not be critical today and just look at their call from a critical thinking point. 1) Did Baganda appoint this Katikiro to office? No they did not appoint him, Mulwanyamuli became a Katikiro after being appointed by Yoweri Museveni to be in Mengo as a Movementist and screw Buganda. This we have stated over and over. Fellow Baganda have attacked me in these very forums as a non Muganda and as a person who should not even comment on any thing in Mengo for all was well. Ssemwogerere is a Katikiro who can not even be fired by Ssabasajja, for he has a mission that must be accomplished. A mission of driving that Kingdom to the drain before Museveni screws it up, which we know will happen. 2) Did Baganda oppose the appointment of this Katikiro? No instead Baganda followed as lost sheep, and even went further by  following him to go to the government and demand federalism. That move its self was so childish and detrimental to Mengo as a cultural institution for it changed it to a political institution. When we stated so, Fellow Baganda right here called us enemies of Buganda and in fact chassed us out of nets like Federal net, just before the likes of Mwaami Kibuuka took the flights to Uganda to get the aspired positions when Uganda becomes a federal State. 3) Kabaka has no power in this federal (WHAT??????)  So what powers did Baganda expect Museveni was going to offer? Let us take Museveni out of the question and just look at Mengo as it is. Would you as a Ugandan or even as a Muganda allow Mengo to have any powers as it is? What would you allow them to do? Collect taxes or take care of hospitals and roads? Mengo has no single elected person and plans to have none ever. How will you displine them if they mismanage your taxes as they mismanaged Teefe bank?   So I ask who in a right mind thought that marching at Mengo can force Mulwanyamuli out of office? He is an NRM agent and I wonder why Uganda government did not send an army to protect him for it will. May be just may be we need to be critical thinkers before we turn our selves into ass-holes?   Excuse me I have to puke for this idiocy in Buganda just stinks   Em Toronto =========================== Angry Baganda demonstrate         By Samuel Kisuule   Monday, 14 February 2005 Scores of angry Baganda opposed to an agreement reached by the Buganda Government negotiators and the Central Government on the issue of Federalism have staged a demonstration outside the Buganda Lukiiko demanding the resignation of the Katikkiro. The group, calling itself �Gwanga Mujje� carried placards with wordings like, �This is not federal, because the Kabaka has no powers,�   They stood outside the Lukiiko in Bulange Mengo as the Katikkiro Joseph Mulwanyamuli Ssemogerere reported to the Lukiiko what they had agreed upon with the central government.   The group accuses the Katikkiro and his team of betraying Buganda by conceding to alleged government pressures and giving in on key issues that the Kingdom had objected to.   The Katikkiro had earlier told the Lukiiko that it was agreed upon that the Mengo establishment will not collect taxes and the Katikkiro would be elected by all the Baganda.  The Mulindwas Communication Group "With Yoweri Museveni, Uganda is in anarchy"             Groupe de communication Mulindwas "avec Yoweri Museveni, l'Ouganda est dans l'anarchie"
