The so called Donor nations are equally responsible for the suffering of our fellow citizens in Northern Uganda. The logic here is simply: without the so called "development assistance" offered to Museveni's Uganda by the donors over the past 20 years, the dictatorship in Kampala would have found it rather difficult to finance it's many wars in DRC Congo, Rwanda, The Sudan, Northern Uganda. All these wars have resulted in tremendous human Suffering!!!

"The suffering of people in camps in northern Uganda is a shame and we all have to work to reduce this tragedy," Gjos said on Thursday.

He was speaking at Hotel Equatoria in Kampala during celebrations to mark the first anniversary of Save the Children in Uganda (SCiU) and the launch of the emergency education programme for northern Uganda.
SCiU director David Wright said between $2m and $3m would be injected annually in the programme over a five-year period. It will benefit students in Pader, Gulu, Apac, Lira and Kitgum districts.
