APPARENTLY....It is evident that the good people of Uganda just havent got the slightest clue on who (Sir )Bob Geldof is.
It is evident, that even writers( BUKUMUHNE�s Idle Notes) simply don�t understand the man and his cause.
I strongly recommend Ugandans to buy the LIVE AID DVD.
It entails uncompromising footage and information you never knew you would ever know.
Bob tackled unfair trade, he rubbed shoulders with ministers and other very important people who have a hand in the unfairness Africa faces�BUT NOTE WELL�he also said the other half of the problem lies in Africa itself�not just the policies of the western world..
When Bob fought to raise money for the famine victims all around Africa. The whole entire world had just looked away like they always do(look at Rwanda and Congo).
Believe me if the Tsunamis had attacked Uganda, �don�t EXPECT THE WORLD TO REACT LIKE THEY DID. That is why peopl e like Bob are very important.
It is more than embarrassing for Mr. BUKUMUHNE ( BUKUMUHNE�s Idle Notes) to dig up irrelevant and unimportant information on Bob, it is childish, immature and as a matter of fact challenges the Integrity of this chap Bukumuhne.
Please leave your ignorance at home. You have already showe us how much you know nothing about African aid and development.
Bob Geldof is a legend. No one single man has done that for the continent.
