Theunis last Tuesday [6 September] evening. The CD&V [Christian Democratic
and Flemish] is demanding a powerful diplomatic response from [Foreign]
Minister Karel De Gucht.
Rwanda:
Government appoints new ambassadors
In wide-ranging appointments announced last Thursday, the
Cabinet appointed the secretary-general of the Ministry of Finance and
Economic Planning, Claver Gatete, the new Rwandan ambassador to the United
Kingdom (UK). Gatete, who has also been the secretary to the treasury, will
replace Rosemary Museminali, who was a fortnight ago made the state minister
for cooperation.
