THE Police are investigating northern army spokesman Capt. Paddy Ankunda over a shooting incident in which a man was injured in Bunga.
Kabalagala Police post OC Godson Sekanabo yesterday said the Police received a complaint from Higenyi Kalyebi of Kotido RDC's office, accusing Ankunda of shooting and injuring someone.
Higenyi and three others travelling in the Kotido RDC's official vehicle reportedly knocked a civilian-registered vehicle driven by Ankunda on Gaba Road but sped off.
Ankunda yesterday said he pursued and caught up with them at Bunga.
"They grabbed my car keys and they tried to grab my pistol, which fell down and it went off," Ankunda said. He said Okwir was injured in the scuffle.
