FORUM for Democratic Change president Kizza Besigye has said the on going Juba peace talks will not solve the country's political problems because all stakeholders have not been involved.
Besigye was winding up his tour of the western region, where he appeared on Mbarara's Radio west talk show on Tuesday.
"We as FDC back the on going peace talks in Juba but they wont solve Uganda's problems because they have not involved all the stakeholders," Besigye said while responding to a question by the moderator, Mr Bashir Hangi.
Hangi asked Besigye's take on the Juba talks that are between the government and the LRA team.
He said the stakeholders in the conflict include people in the IDP camps, their political and religious leaders and the ADF.
"These people in the north and in the IDP camps have never voted NRM, they overwhelmingly voted FDC, so neither of these groups have been involved in the talks, the northern conflict is not only between the LRA and the UPDF. All stake holders should be involved in a national conference as we (FDC) have always advised," Besigye said.
He said Uganda's problems could be solved through a national conference where all stakeholders could sit and talk as he had proposed in a document (2000 dossier) he gave to the government.
"I gave them this document but up to now the government has never responded," he said.
Asked whether FDC had a plan to remove the government with force of arms, Besigye said they have no such plans.

"First of all, this government (NRM) has no moral authority to criticise all those that are using arms to fight this government just because they with me came to power through force of arms, nobody voted Museveni in power in 1986," he said.
"We fought with Museveni and left many dead bodies rotting here at Makenke (Mbarara Army Barracks), but FDC has its transparent agenda on how to ascend to power."
Besigye was flanked by FDC officials Haji Obed Kamulegeya, Ms Mary Francis Semambo and Mr Francis Mwijukye
