The
PDR-Ihumure denounces Rwandan President Paul Kagames trip to New York City,
N.Y., U.S.A.
HOUSTON, TX
The Party for Democracy in Rwanda, PDR-Ihumure, has learned that
Rwandan strongman Paul Kagame has been invited to attend the Clinton Global
Initiative annual meeting in New York city on UWednesday, September 20,
2006U. Out of moral
conscience and respect for human dignity, the distinguished guests and world
leaders at this illustrious gathering should not embrace and allow in their
midst the Rwandan Khmer Noir responsible for the deaths of 2 million Rwandans
and more than 4 million Congolese in the last decade. The United States of
America, along with other civilized nations, should not allow such an inveterate
violator of human rights to set foot on their soil.
United against President Paul Kagames ruthless dictatorship,
his callous trampling of Justice and Democracy in Rwanda, and his total contempt
for peace and human life in the entire Great Lakes region of Africa, members of
the PDR-Ihumure are demanding that he be arrested and prosecuted for all the
crimes he has committed from October 1990 to present on the Rwandan national
territory against innocent civilians. We are also demanding that he be
prosecuted for his crimes against nationals of other countries, among them
millions of Congolese civilians, Canadian and Belgian priests, Spanish doctors
and volunteers, and other foreign technical assistance and development
specialists killed by his RPF army and death squads. The overwhelming body of
evidence now available places full responsibility for the Rwandan

tragedy of the last decade squarely on the shoulders of
President Paul Kagame. He must be brought before an international court of law
and answer for the following crimes:
The PDR-Ihumure has been keenly following developments in the
trial of suspects of the Bwindi national park massacre as it plays out in the
courts of Washington, DC. We would like to thank the American authorities, the
investigation teams, and the justice department officials for their diligent
work in the prosecution of this delicate case. In deploring the brutal killing
of the innocent tourists and forcefully condemning the killers, we also want to
urge the American authorities to seriously pursue the high possibility that
President Paul Kagame and his RPF army planned and carried out this heinous
Bwindi massacre and blamed it on their enemies. Such criminal framing of
suspects is a well-known trademark tactic of the RPF as a rebel group and a
government: Kagame and his army have made a career out of perpetrating crimes
and placing the blame on their enemies after framing them as suspects. Since
taking up weapons and invading Rwanda in October 1990, the RPF has operated like
a steam-roller criminal organization that will stop at nothing, eliminating
Rwandans and foreign nationals alike, in order to achieve its diabolical goals.
The people of Rwanda and the Great lakes region of Africa
have suffered immeasurably because of the criminal predatory activities of the
RPF. All we want is peace, democracy, and genuine reconciliation. But these
noble goals will not be achieved until equitable justice is served.
Unfortunately, justice will not come until the International Criminal Tribunal
for Rwanda (ICTR) indicts and prosecutes criminals within the RPF government and
the RPA army in Kigali. Justice will not be served until the world community
holds accountable leaders such as Paul Kagame, who have been implicated for war
crimes, crimes against humanity, and crimes of genocide.
