S.Africa: Crime - A Gruesome Murder that won't be reported in the SA Press

[Here is an e-mail exchange between a Rhodesian and his American friend, which
can give a lot of incite into what is happening between cultures (sic) in South
Africa and the United States. Bottom line, multi-culturism just doesn't work!

The Rhodesian writing to his American friend:
. but it is a story of another hue which M*** related which really has ruffled
my thoughts.
You will recall that after he sold his property near B*** he moved close-by to
a spare house in the yard of a good friend. He lived there for several years
and I think M*** still does some of the farm books as a favour.
J*** has more than likely told you of the unmentionable incidents which befell
his friend last week. I will relate them anyway, as I am disturbed by an event
which is repeated far too often in SA and I need to make a point.
On Monday the friend's house was burgled. A laptop, briefcase and other
valuables were stolen. The South African Police Service (SAPS) duly arrived on
Tuesday, first uniformed policemen, and then the Criminal Investigations
Department (CID). The latter's car had broken down on the farm road and they
walked in to the crime scene. On returning to where they had left their
vehicle, they found it had disappeared - pinched.
On Wednesday the son of Mo***'s friend spent the night in his Dad's house,
together with his two sons aged 10 and 14. Presumably it was to house-sit.
That night the homestead was again broken into. The two youngsters were badly
assaulted and tied up with cable ties. The intruders set about their father
beating him horribly. He was cruelly tortured with boiling water and finally
shot in the head four times. The house which was turned upside down was left
full of blood and gore. The whole episode, starting at midnight, lasted four
hours before the intruders left.
A revenge killing or just pure black on white sadism with robbery as a bonus?
Whatever, it is yet another case of extreme black violence on whites, an
unspeakable act of barbarism, usually committed with impunity.
So where do such incidents usually feature in the media? Page 6 or 8 in the
paper, an item in News24, perhaps referred to once as an afterthought on TV?
One must ask how often blacks torture their white victims before killing them?
How many do they slaughter? I know there is a farmer knocked off roughly every
4 days, but what about non-farmers - by how many more do they swell the numbers?
Conversely how many blacks do whites murder every year, what is that minimal
figure? How many are premeditated, savoured in the execution? Surely not more
than a score, if that.
The law prohibits reporting crimes by the race of the victims or perpetrators,
nor are police stats available according to these categories. It would be
embarrassing to reveal such data.
Yet, the ANC is vociferous, bitter in complaining when it comes to the
triviality of racial make up of sports teams, with threats of dire action if
there aren't "enough" blacks knowing no end. We all hear it often enough.
So too is the demand for white businesses to be "compliant" regarding the race
ratios of workforces they employ. The same discriminatory "criterion" applies
to the composition of management, whether there are enough black directors on
your board, or sufficient BEE freeloaders, etc.
The list of official anti-white racial discrimination is endless, as you well
know, and applies to many walks of life.
But I digress. My gripe is about crime and killing and the disproportionate
number white victims of black criminals, a group which is so half-heartedly
pursued by the authorities.
By contrast: Today one Johan Nel, an idiot 18 year old white youth from
somewhere in the North-west stands arraigned in the Mafikeng HC for going on a
shooting spree in Skierlik township 12 months ago. He faces 17 charges, the
most serious of which are for indiscriminately killing 4 innocent blacks
with a .303 and wounding 10 others.
A shocking episode, to be sure. If it were still available he would qualify for
the rope without a doubt. And quite rightly.
Disturbing, though, is the regional Cosatu and ANC turning the pre-trial into a
racist circus, right from the very day on which the boy was arrested. Today,
they were most likely hyping it up the political heat. It seems to be standard
behaviour every time there is white on black violence, or a killing.
Without trying hard I can think of a number of similar, orchestrated instances,
as I am sure you can too.
Meanwhile the media as is its wont embarks on a feeding frenzy regarding the
newsworthiness of the rare instances of white-on-black cases of violence,
vociferous about them as loudly and lengthily as they are silent and brief on
the plethora of violent and murderous black on white crimes.
I don't believe there is a written policy to take out whites and to destroy all
the institutions of security - health, education and safety. Regarding the
latter, especially though, I believe there is a deliberate turning a blind-eye
by blacks to the killing of whites by the black criminal element. Blacks do not
recognise whites as part of Africa, the notion that they are intruders is
fostered by the party, that all should "go". If killing them off achieves this,
then so be it. Doing so has become a habit, and does not seemed to be frowned
upon. Easy targets, great pickings, and "it serves them right."
Thinking back on the Pearce commission and what Graham Miller, DC Nuanetsi said
to me in 1972, blacks really hate whites as a group, even if not necessarily
individually. Being unable for centuries to reach up to and sustain the
achievement of whites has inculcated them with a monstrous, incurable
resentment.
As George Bush said,you want our money but you don't want us.
The American replies to his Rhodesian friend:
Very interesting and frightening account. It is almost the reverse here in some
ways...at least in the beginning. I think many whites did not feel that the
blacks belonged here and should "go back to Africa." I am beginning to believe
there will never be true racial equality...just different standards of what
will be tolerated for different cultures and countries. Problems, just
different ones. Man can certainly be cruel and that is a huge hurt in one's
heart. Sometimes even "normal" people of whatever color go on a rampage or
become deranged and commit horrible acts, but it is who's who are truly just
power-seeking and evil which are the most horrendous. I think the use of so
many psychological drugs in this country has caused a lot of this, particularly
in the more affluent white class where it is not expected. So many, many people
are on drugs, prescription drugs I'm talking here. There are many drug
interactions we do not fully understand or comprehend yet big pharmaceuticals
push them big time anyway. But this black on white problem which is not
publicized shows that the media is the media 'round the world. The thing
America needs to wake up to and most still sleep peacefully is that our media
is terribly biased and not "free" at all. Wouldn't it be wonderful to have a
news source which is truthful, with no one pulling its strings, which has
active and resourceful journalists who could be trust to report and dig for
news, not just report whatever comes across their wires as "truth"? Thank you
for forwarding J***'s letter. I tend to get caught up in our own drama here and
if it seems as though I am uncaring of the plight of the good people of
Southern Africa, please know I do worry and care for you all.
The Rhodesian writes back to the American
I know that you care deeply about our plight...never thought anything else.
What infuriates my friend F*** so much is the fact that our media give huge
publicity to any white that kills a black regardless of the circumstances or
background yet doesn't even bother to report some of the most brutal black on
white murders. The murder described in his letter is just typical of happens
here all the time....hundreds of such murders have occurred where the victims
have been tortured to death - mothers have been raped in front of their
children and children raped in front of their parents...it goes on all the time.
One of my friends commented recently that the media, especially the
international media does not concern itself with black on white murders or
atrocities because so many people in the West firmly believe that it is
"payback time" and that we deserve this sort of treatment and that this sort of
behaviour it is all a backlash from the way we treated the blacks. Another
friend commented "it is us who are paying for all the crimes committed by the
whites on blacks going right back to the slave trade era and also for the way
American settlers treated the native Americans...so many white Americans have
this massive guilt conscience that they now turn their heads the other way when
they see blacks turning on whites."
I thing there is a degree of truth in all of these points of view.
But when you look at the track record of Sub Saharan Africa for these past 50
years and you see how this continent has declined so dramatically with all the
wars and suffering on a scale never before witnessed and you compare that to
the way of life during the colonial era, be it that there were white on black
injustices, doesn't anyone think that for whatever mistakes we may have made,
that we might have been just a little bit right and that our policies to be
hard and tough might have been the right policy in dealing with these radical
leaders who have all turned out to be far far more aggressive and oppressive to
their own kind compared to what we ever were? Have our very worst fears,
nightmares and predictions about black majority rule and all the reasons why we
resisted it, not now been realised?
Let us hope and pray that President elect Obama uses his influence to somehow
manage to balance things out on this continent.
All we can do is pray for some sanity.
