Many times we write in these forums and we argue about the politics we have
in our country, at the end of the day we agree to disagree or we agree to
agree, but as we are doing all that we sometimes fail to remember the
children we have in these societies, I am going to spend a moment to write
this posting before I go to bed so that our children take a moment to
reflect in their life styles and to understand that all decisions they make
in their lives, have consequences and sometimes very serious ones. If you
have children above 17 please forward this Email to their inbox so that
they can read it.

I woke up this morning at about 5 am for I had to go to work, yes on a
Saturday morning and I had to go to work at 5 am, as soon as I pulled out
of the drive way I switched on my radio which monitors the emergency
services in the city. That radio is important for by listening in I get a
picture of what is happening in the city which is important if I have waken
up especially that early and do not know what is going on. We had a some
drizzling as has been all day. About 5 minutes passed 5 am a call came over
the radio classified as a red shot. Red shot means that everyone has to stop
what you’re doing for this is important, it is mostly a gun somewhere so it
is that high, many times red shots also cross boundaries, you see the city
has Police divisions which are separated by major streets, but if it is a
red shot, boundaries get eliminated for a second for that means they need
any officer nearby that area to move in and very first. As information kept
on trickling in, it started to be understood that on Don Valley Parkway
{DVP to those that know this city} There was a pick up that was somehow
involved into an accident, there were two off duty officers at site and they
were calling for every able bodies officer to the scene, on duty and off
duty just show up. The problem with these calls is that those at the scene
try so hard to save lives than communicating with dispatch so the
information was very limited. And based on that, what the dispatch does is
to send everyone, and everything to the point, as those on the scene get a
time to fill in with information.

I picked up DVP for I was going North on the same road, and on reaching
between Don Mills and Eglinton to those that know these roads, both North
and South at that time of the morning had stopped and those of us North
Bound were running out of the cars to go to the south bound to see how we
can help. So this tells you that this was as fresh as emergency services had
not arrived yet as much as radios were going. But remember that the first
call went in when I was on the Adelaide DVP ramp, so we became the very
first people at site. Some body driving south bound decided to drive a
pickup truck a Chevy, at a speed Police estimates to be 230 KPH, on a rainy
night. As he tried to make that bend after Eglinton, he lost control, hit
the guard rail which is about 3-4 feet high, the Chevy went air borne,
jumped the guard rail and fell in the valley. To reach this truck you had to
walk North where the slope is shorter then walk coming back to reach it. I
looked at that truck and there was no reason to tamper with it, for it had
all been cramped up and very fairly. There was some one granting slowly but
we seriously needed very heavy equipment , the jaws of life or that class
to even reach that noise. Equipment started to arrive and more kept on being
ordered, for I left the scene and I could still listen in, as they order
better and bigger equipment to be able to do the job. They for example
needed a crane to pull them out to the high way level to put them into the
ambulance if they are alive for you had no way to drag them out of their on
foot.

Now the moment Police arrives, everything becomes classified so details
start to be limited, but this we now know. An 18 and a 19 year olds both
male, were driving a Chevy, early morning and in a drizzle, they decided to
over speed to the ability of the vehicle, it flipped and went into a valley.
One was pronounced dead at the scene, the other one was taken out alive but
barely that I will be very surprised if he makes it, and if he makes it, I
will not be surprised if he is a veggie. Why is this posting important for
me as a parent? It is important for I am sick and tired to see our kids in
these societies dying due to making stupid decisions. I am not going to
question why you are on the road at 5 am, that is your right, I am not going
to question why you drive that late for that is your right as well, but I am
going to ask you why you drive that kind of speed in such wired hours when
it is raining, for all we know this truck might have as well had bad tires
so the drizzling pulled it off the road in the bend. We don’t even know if
alcohol was involved yet for at the time I was on the truck the whole truck
was doused with gas so you would not know if there was alcohol. The fear was
of ignition. Few months ago and I even posted it in this forum, a kid drove
a Range Rover on Mount Pleasant, a street of 40 kmph limit, at a rate of
about 250 kmph. He struck a hydro pole and the engine of a Range Rover split
off the entire chassis. The passenger died on spot and the driver went
veggie. Age both under 20.

Yes you have a right to die, but you’re hurting a whole lot of people than
you in the process, Yes you have a powerful tool in your hands but that car
is diazone too, yes you have a good road, but all that is good if you use
common sense. I drove my truck and came home for I would not go to work I
was depressed at the death of our kids, so you are even hurting me a man
that went to bed at 8pm for I knew I had to wake up early, you are killing
your friends but you’re going to kill that old grand Ma too, that will be
coming from a hospital to see her dying husband. These are public roads and
we all use them but we must use them responsibly and safely to survive.
Every single accident I have seen of these kids they die. And why this
message is not going through that speed and alcohol plus a huge engine is a
disaster I fail to understand. The message of sit belt has gone very through
in kids in this society, that they put them on more than adults, why is the
message of self-destruct with speed failing to come through? This accident
happened 5 am and at almost 10 into night we don’t have the identities yet
for Police is still notifying the relatives. Do you want to bet that these
are not immigrants and the relatives are out of Canada so it takes longer to
reach them?

It is time for our children to kindly reflect.
