Barigye
Uganda politics changed the day Nairobi peace jokes were created and they
were created by mainly Museveni Ssemwogerere and Olara Otunu. It change don
being based on politics policies to I must be in power. Take betty Kamya as
an example, she loved FDC as a political party and joined it. And why did
Betty Kamya join it for she believed into its policies. When she stood and
failed to be elected she stopped to be an FDC member but created her own
political party. Now is it a stretch to state that she never joined FDC due
to its policies but to have an access to the national cake? If Betty Kamya
joined FDC due to its policies, why didnt she remain an FDC member even if
lost an election? Do all candidates that loose election create their own
political partys? If UPC wins an election today and God forbid Olara Otunu
becomes a president of Uganda, Betty Kamya can become a member of UPC and
sell the UPC policy as long as she gets a ministerial post. What is the
difference between Betty Kamya and Raila Odinga?
We are screwed as a continent large.

Like FDC it may die a natural death. You see politics and MONEY are one.
These fellows are going to look for bread and butter and if they are not
getting it in CORD or is it ODM that is it! RAO will be abandoned! Remember
the kyuks are very good at using their money to make more money. The Jaluos
are good at spending it!

KENYA: Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga has turned down an offer by the
Jubilee Government to work as an envoy saying his plate was full.
Raila said his focus would be to strengthen his Orange Democratic Movement
(ODM) and the Coalition for Reforms and Democracy ( CORD
<http://standardmedia.co.ke/?searchtext=CORD&searchbutton=SEARCH> ) and
urged those still sympathising with him for losing the presidency, to stop.
Speaking in Khwisero constituency on Saturday during the burial of Mama
Ellena Andayi, 93, mother to area lawmaker Benjamin Andola, Raila said he
was ready to soldier on despite losing the presidency, adding he would
re-organise his house.

Wetangula said their South Africa trip was refreshing and allowed them to
brainstorm on their future.
He revisited the March elections alluding to the fact that numbers let them
down and told residents to take voter registration seriously.

Kakamega and Bungoma counties are the second and third most populous in the
country, but look at our voter turnout in the March elections, it was
appalling. It is a high time we realised leadership does not emanate from
trees or rallies but from our voters cards, he noted.

to bring bloodshed again and that is why we are looking ahead, he said.
Wetangula warned against picking political rejects from Western for Cabinet
slots saying this would not resonate with peoples wishes. He accused some
leaders from Western of angling for appointments into the Cabinet saying
they were selfish and had sold out the community.
It is now crystal clear what we said was true, have you not seen the
political projects we talked about before the polls, Kenyans are watching
how the Cabinet will be incorporated, he observed.
