George Okello President Obama left Washington and went into Egypt a very undemocratic country and which had a very undemocratic leader, and made a very long winded speech about democratic principles. I am calling it a winded speech for he chose a very wrong venue for it. Did Obama go to Egypt for Hosni Mubarak was a democratic man? Did Obama refuse to go to Kenya due to the cases of ICC or simply because Uhuru is a Kikuyu and not a Luo?
And all I am looking for here is consistence from the man sir. Mulindwa, here you go again. There was no need for Obama to go to Kenya and the reason is very simple, and which he stated, that the leaders of Kenya still have some international issues to resolve. The trials of Ruto and Uhuru Kenyatta are to start this month at the ICC at the Hague, unless they have once again been postponed. So did you seriously expect Obama to be hosted by a man charged with very serious crimes against humanity, including murder, torture, rape, aggravated arson, land grabbing, and many more? And a Vice President who that very week was fighting a case in court, which he lost and was ordered to pay damages of shs 50 million? At the Somali conference a few months ago held in London and attended by many heads of state, At first David Cameron did not Uhuru Kenyatta invited, he asked him to send a minister instead, but Uhuru Kenyatta objected and threatened to pull out Kenyan troops fighting in Somalia. So he was invited. But Mr Cameron made sure he never had any photo opportunity with him. In fact I don't think any foreign head of state had a public picture with him. Mr Mulindwa, I once again beg you to think before writing nonsense or just don't write any more about foreign diplomacy because you know nothing about it, if you are suggesting that Obama should have visited Kenya and been hosted by Kenyatta.
