You are making a great call which is going nowhere for it is aimed at very
wrong audience. I have been in these forums for a while but the kind of
audience matters. Your posting need to go to Mengo. There is a new Katikiro
as we hear, get them to read exactly what you have posted. On record I sent
the very same reasoning to Mengo in about 1998 and it was ignored. Baganda
can never be useful through Mengo until Ssabassajja Mutebi a Movementists is
removed.
And I am not here to build to you how the fuck you remove him.

It's high time to stop blaming M7 for our own follies of naiveté. At the
cost of repeating myself, M7 has lied from day one in the case of Luweero:
he attributed the deaths of Luweero entirely to Obote, but we know that NRA
caused the deaths as policy tool of achieving political ends: the twin
purpose of which was raising discontent for Obote government as well as a
means of recruitment to the ranks of NRA in Buganda generally, and in
Luweero in particular.
The people in Luweero were and continue to be political instruments called
upon whenever M7 is in a pickle. Never was he serious, or even empathetic to
the plight of these peasants. State House is littered with peasants sons
and daughters in preparation for expensive scholarships abroad at
tax-payers expense. We know that these privileged sons and daughters are
carefully screened from an ethnic group deemed acceptable. Those from
Luweere will continue to fill the ranks of the disparate-dispossessed, and
disposable.
What is distressing in all of this is not the cruel lies of M7, but the fact
that people supposedly intelligent and learned abate and perpetuate these
cruel lies. You wonder where their love for country or even their principles
are. Is there no bar lower enough they cant go?
So caution: this time round, people of Luweero and Uganda at large should
laugh him out of these villages. We should not buy into these cynical lies
meant to buy him a little more time at the helm.
