Don’t wait too long, Uganda politicians narrow political discussions to
removing Museveni from power. And if you want them to run from that discussion
ask them to expand on how and what is next after Museveni. Hey put Norbert Mao
with Dr Biraro on a thread and ask both of them a single question, how will you
improve the economic structure of Uganda? Both will show up with one answer, we
need to remove Museveni from power. Thank God that created the weed plant it
looks very green man !!!!
Did you know that weed remains green even in the fall when all plants are
yellow? I wonder why !!!!!

One wonders if Norbert Mao realizes how frustrating is his reasoning, and let
me directly quote one of his very terrible statement “I hope you also address
these views of the need for a unified front to other players in the opposition
as well.“ End quote. This is a very terrible and disappointing statement and
when it comes from Mao I get really frustrated. No we do not need to unify the
opposition, what we need is good governance in Uganda. Mao’s reasoning is a
politics based on cheap politicking to look for a position in government or to
lead it, you see that is exactly what Museveni used to build the Movement, he
started by stating that Uganda’s problem is AMO UPC and Northerners. Then
Museveni came up to tell you that the only way you can change Uganda was by
removing AMO from power, shut down political parties which will kill UPC and
murder as many Northern and Easterners as you can. He then turned around and
told every Southerner that to change Uganda you all need to be trained
militarily thus ChamuChaka. Ugandans did all those things yet Uganda has become
worse than it was under AMO.
But do you know why Museveni built a base on such? He had no political
philosophy, he never even cared to build one, his sole agenda was to be in
power at any cost. Museveni combined every one under a single banner to remove
AMO who had been so criminalized, that even Ssabassajja Mutebi drove an entire
kingdom to the Movement crap. The Movie is ending with Museveni dying a
president, Mengo kingdom screwed, and Uganda screwed large but Museveni with
his entire extended family millionaires for life.
Now George Okello has stated that I go after every one that stands to oppose
Museveni, but it is very interesting that Betty Kamya is telling us that
Uganda’s problem is Museveni and we all need to join with Mengo and create
Federalism to remove Museveni from power. Betty’s political policy is a removal
of Museveni. Norbert Mao is telling us that Uganda’s problem is Museveni and we
need to all unite and remove him from power. Mao’s argument is actually more
dangerous for if you stand up today and ask him if he can support Federalism if
Mengo will support his going after Museveni, Mao will accept to change Uganda
to a federal state. Mao’s bottom line is the removal of Museveni, he can go
with UPC he can go with KY he can go with Lakwena he can go with Muhozi.
Norbert Mao can work with Janet Museveni to remove Museveni, so to Norbert Mao,
his priority is only one the removal of Museveni. No actually his priority is
to be in power that if Museveni hands him a VP position he can take it.
What is Norbert Mao’s political policy? Just
asking !!!!!!!!!!

Mr. Nsubuga,
I can only say I don't share your opinions but I respect your right to hold
them. It takes two to tango. I hope you also address these views of the need
for a unified front to other players in the opposition as well.
Concerning your view that the DP party symbol of a hoe is antiquated and
outdated, I can only say a symbol is a symbol. It stands for something. In
India the spinning wheel remains the symbol in the era of computerized cloth
making machines. One can call it antiquated but it represents something
important for India. The former Soviet Union had the hammer and sickle as its
symbol and it was even labeled on its spacecrafts that went into space. Symbols
are visible representations of something invisible that becomes significant by
convention and usage. Why would we have shields in our courts of arms? Or drums
in the era of modern acoustic instruments. Your arguments remind me of Gen.
Biraaro's arguments that Uganda should ditch the crested crane in favour of a
more aggressive symbol say a lion or an eagle.
I am afraid your arguments may not persuade the majority of the DP
stakeholders. You are beginning to sound like those who say Catholics worship
moulded figures! Again as I always say, TEXT WITHOUT CONTEXT IS PRETEXT!
My best always,
Norbert Mao

Mr. president in waiting / Norbert Mao,
Thank you for the reaction to my email of Wed, Sept 18. I'm aware that there is
many other silent members who happen to be party leaders on this forum, but
that your self and Beti Kamya, even Gen. Kale Kayihura and others do find some
time to respond to members concerns here, is in its self a manifestation that
you take our views seriously. That is a good thing. Let me take this
opportunity to correct parts of your missive here below.
1/ I did not suggest the slightest that you're the sole stumbling block to the
cohesion of the opposition in Uganda. There is many other factors that have
contributed to the stagnation, however, there is no doubt, you have been a
major actor in as far as disorganising, fragmenting, mudslinging, and use of
surreptitious language aimed at bringing down other opposition leaders in a
disgraceful manner. This includes some in your own party the DP by the way.
Politics is a game of opportunity by nature, and all politicians are
opportunistic for that matter. But when you sacrifice your integrity in
exchange for cheap popularity like your preference has been in recent years,
you pay a price.
The Mbale delegates conference that handed you the DP flag was a strenuous and
an uphill struggle that left behind a lot of an desired dust and sad people.
Up-to this day, you have successfully failed to clear this mess in order to
create a climate conducive to dialogue and reconciliation. Unless you say you
do not need them, how do you expect to facilitate a return of those you
discarded along the way as you matched on. That in its self compounds my
argument above about your leadership style.
2/ As a leader and a potential future president of Uganda, you must be honest
and exemplary if re-enforcing your credibility is something that you take very
seriously. The people you mention as having walked out of the IPC partnership,
did not do so because of what they had failed to realise before joining hands.
Some of them had overbearing internal party pressures which pulled in all
directions, but also, the absence of DP as part of the alliance did not help
matters.
The likes of Mr. Mabikke were there as mere escorts. Insignificant is the word.
There was never any back room deals as you allege to shove Mabbike out of the
IPC. It is what it is, Mabikke was rather a masquerading farmer who was eager
to harvest corn where he planted a lot of nothing. I'm not sure why you even
bother to mention such people, considering that he was a renegade member of
mainstream DP, who left unceremoniously to form a "Kateyamba organisation"
called SDP. What is this SDP of his? I hear he's back into DP...."AGAIN"....,
but rest assured, he will do what all political prostitutes do best. As 2016
approaches, he will leave again, this time to form "Omweeso player's
organisation" and call it a political party.
Some of your DP leaders include the current presidential adviser who speaks
English in reverse, and only him understands the difference between a "Minister
of Fort Portal and a Minister with out portfolio" As mayor of Kampala, he was
implicated in forgery activities and imprisoned. Even here in Uganda, he could
not tell the difference between a road reserve, a road, and a commercial plot.
It is alleged that, he demarcated roads, and swamps, chopped them into plots
selling them to whomever cared to pay the highest price. DP was there to assist
him accumulate wealth, nothing else.
Then you have my friend Sam Lubega, the new kid on the block, Ssubbi members
and group etc...... The idea one gets out of all this disorganisation and
confusion with in DP, is the undeniable deficiency of leadership and a shortage
of leaders.
P. Ssemogerere- With the exclusion of those who conceived the idea to incept
DP, Mzee Louise Tyaba, Benedicto Kiwanuka, and others, all subsequent DP
leaders have got no positive legacy to be proud of. Mzee Paul Ssemogerere
handed over the oldest political party to the NRM / NRA in exchange for food
coupons for him self and friends. There was no gun pointed at his head while he
signed away the famous sales agreement. In the end, he walked out of that
marriage of convenience wounded, but most of all, his party was left
incapacitated beyond repair. It is still limping to-date.
J. Ssebaaba - By the time he took over the DP presidency, he was already
expired goods. He did not even have a voice, a major prerequsite to being a
politician. Sometimes when he stopped by to address a political rally, you'd
confuse his voice for a failing boat engine at a distance. But when you finally
figured out it was actually him speaking, you could not tell whether he said
"tomorrow or today". Everything sounded the same. Instead of rejuvenating the
party and raise it up to its former glorious days, he simply added it to his
business conglomerate and it was business as usual.
Norbert Mao - You were seen by many of your supporters as a latent breath of
fresh air, young, educated, married, untainted with corruption or involvement
with previous bad governments, a bridge between North and Western Uganda and so
one....However, that was not to be. A quick evaluation of your first 90 days in
office was riddled with a lot of self inflicted wounds. For instance, there was
many other opposition members who were contesting for the presidency, but you
re-focused all your energies towards discrediting FDC and Besigye in
particular, why?
Surprisingly, all this took place as DP fell apart, and whenever you went out
campaigning, instead of concentrating on the real issues, you were pre-occupied
with Besigyeand FDC. Very few people were motivated to attend your rallies, and
unless you started off with your famous "Enkoko yo mutamivu" slogan, very few
knew who Norbert Mao was in some parts of the country. And then the disastrous
DP symbol representative of a preliterate culture.....the back breaking "hoe".
In this day and age of Internet, twitter, face book, and so on...you're still
telling us to use an
