There is no one that messed up Uganda politics than the person that created
“The Moshi” conference. You see it is the organization that broke the Uganda
political camel’s back. We can argue we can kill people we can loot the country
we can rape children but at the end of the day we all come back and sit on a
single table as friends and design how to screw up Ugandans and together. We
can get Olara Otunnu and Kawanga Ssemwogerere with The Lutwas on one table and
plan how to screw up Ugandans. The peace talks in Nairobi. The Movement in
Luwero district. All Uganda political parties must do is to unite and file a
single candidate to remove Museveni. Do you see how it all comes back with
putting people together? Because Uganda politics is no longer about policy and
political stand it is about removing a leader from power and we all get
comfortable and eat.

You join Uganda politics and make such a noise that you get recognized for that
recognition earns you a seat on a round table and any one that ends up on a
round table ends up eating. General Mugisha Muntonyera was born in a Uganda
family, a people that were intelligent and politically informed with UPC
written all over their blood stream. How the hell did he end up so confused
into the movement and becoming a killer? Because he wanted a recognition to own
a table at the round table of peace talk any time it happens anywhere and under
any leader. Had Muntonyera remained in UPC he would have been a very valuable
asset to Uganda probably to the levels of The Akena Adoko and a nationalist. Go
back and look at Getrude Njuba, shallow naïve and quite frankly politically
useless. She joined politics to sing about Museveni his beauty and being a
single solution for Uganda, she represented him in the parliament and in the
constitutional assembly, the moment greed hit her she started to ask for more
than Museveni was able to offer and she was thrown out both from Rubaga and
from The Movement. Picked up her few belongings and started to target the round
table by making noise. She started with FDC where she left and created her own
party claiming to now worry so much about that poor Mengo that is the salvation
of Uganda. If you put a round table Betty Kamya seat is right in the middle. On
record Betty Kamya has no single policy she is putting forward than telling a
single chorus of if you put Federalism in Uganda we become a developed state.
She does not state how to implement that system she does not go into making its
ground work she does not talk to regions than Mengo but she is making noise and
she exists.

Dr Kiiza Besigye is a very funny one, he decided to reserve his seat by work to
work, and calling for all political parties to become Movements and remove
Museveni. The punk used the very same tactic in Luwero to remove UPC from power
but this time around he wants the Movement back only that he is the Museveni
and the rest of you sucking from him. He left the party leadership and became a
politician operating on Bodaboda sadly. But when you create a round table in
Uganda politics Kiiza Besigye is guaranteed a sit right close to Betty Kamya.
In preparation for a seat on any round table in Uganda politics there are today
more than 30 political party’s including a very funny one actually called
Federal Democratic Party, led by a one Simon Peter Kabala-Kasirye. Why is it a
funny political party? Because he runs that party from Canada where he lives.
All he needs is a credit card on standby with money enough to ticket him to
Entebbe a day before the round table sits. And I can list as many as I so can
that are only building a structure to be recognized as politician in Uganda to
earn that seat. And yes when that table is called all of them show up including
the now very useless Olara Otunnu. All you need to create a political posture
in Uganda is to call for a removal of Museveni you do not have to state what
you will do after just say you need Museveni out for he is the Kawenkene of
Uganda politics.

Mafabi faction forms new party - National

In Summary

Mr Polly Mugoya, until now-the FDC chairperson for Sironko, who announced the
formation of the FDP, said it is a vehicle to ensure that farmers in the Elgon
region are more acquainted with land ownership and have more organised unions

Mbale/Kampala- Some supporters of the former Leader of Opposition in
Parliament, Mr Nandala Mafabi, have formed a new party, the Farmers Democratic
Party (FDP), effectively breaking away from the Forum for Democratic Change
(FDC).

When Mr Mafabi was replaced as LoP in a shake-up of the Opposition leadership
in Parliament recently, his supporters protested, accusing FDC president
Mugisha Muntu of being vindictive towards a man who challenged him for the
party presidency in 2012. They said they were quitting the party.

Mr Polly Mugoya, until now-the FDC chairperson for Sironko, who announced the
formation of the FDP, said it is a vehicle to ensure that farmers in the Elgon
region are more acquainted with land ownership and have more organised unions.

“It is in this light that the farmers have come together and decided to form a
party that will advocate their issues and concerns... For justice, hard work,
equality and liberty,” Mr Mugoya said.

Mr Mafabi, also Budadiri West MP, who chairs the Bugisu Co-operative Union
(BCU), an umbrella union of farmers, expressed ignorance about the party.

In an interview with the Daily Monitor last week, Mr Mafabi insisted he will
not quit FDC and is not behind attempts by his supporters who have decamped.

“I know that FDC has not made me but I have made it in my sub-region [Eastern].
But when you drop me that should not be used by supporters to form another
party. Let us stop this and allow FDC to re-organise for the good of the
country,” Mr Mafabi said.

Yesterday, the Electoral Commission spokesperson, Mr Jotham Taremwa, queried
the existence of FDP, saying the body charged with registering political
parties had not received any communication.

“They have to write asking for a name to be reserved [for them] and then we
send them forms to collect signatures for voters. They may be intending but
they have not formed a party,” Mr Taremwa said.

Ms Margret Wokuri, formerly a research and policy analyst at FDC and an ally of
Mr Mafabi, urged the latter’s supporters to remain calm and support the party
in 2016.

The 2005 Political Parties and Organisations Act states that an application to
register a political party must be accompanied by, among others, a list of the
full name and addresses of at least 50 members of the party from each of at
least of all the districts of each of the traditional geographical regions of
Uganda.
