We had a white-out last night East of the city.401 East bound is still
closed at Cobourg. We were told that it will open after rush hour but still
closed to this posting. Millions of dollars lost. We have two friends coming
in from Ottawa but West bound has been so bad too that they have taken about
8 hours to make it. Be informed that a diversion has now been established
and you can bypass this piece of road that has simply decided to be
stubborn. But be informed as well that the diversion was created in a very
white out roads so basically going East is still not advisable to this hour.
If you must go to Bellville Kingston Ottawa and outwards, worry about this
situation before you labor out.
We simply have difficulties going East of the city.

If you are planning to use 401 this morning be informed that for some
unknown reason we have several trailers that have flipped in the area
between Grafton and Cobourg. OPP is defining it as collisions involving
several trailers, East bound lanes are going to be closed throughout morning
rush hour to allow the needed equipments to go in and clean up the mess.
This information is just starting to come in so we have no idea if we have
any causalities as most agencies are still enroute to the scene.
This is a very developing story.
