Friends

Just in a way you know what you are waking up to.

1} Toronto Police has closed off the intersection of Bay and Adelaide
streets, they have posted on their twit that the closure is going to affect
the Morning commute and it is due to a potential fall of glass from the
towers. I am still failing to understand the real building of concern here
for the intersection as far as I know, has old towers on the West side which
cannot have falling glass, but on the East side it has the KPMG tower which
is new and The trump tower that is new on the South East, KPMG can easily
be good but The Trump Tower has had some issues so we might have a red card
right there. And this is a guess work from my side for we cannot reach any
one at this early hours for confirmation, but I think they are waiting for
experts to show up this morning and carry out some serious tests on the
glass before they open up the intersection. It will be a very challenging
commute in the city if you shut off Bay Adelaide one cannot wait to marvel
at the driving tyranny this morning. Glass falling has been a challenge in
the city due to the weather changes this winder, they expand and contract
and crack in the process.

2} There has been shooting in York University and both victims are women.
Yup it is time we start going after those women, so we have two women with
bullet wounds, no names no age but there is a word from EMS {Emergency
Medical Services} that their situation Is not life threatening. I guess they
were shot more humanely for they are women.

3} In number three I am going to take a moment and write about yesterday
March 6th 2014, you see yesterday was a very important day in this city,
Toronto became 180 years old, yes happy birth day to the old man. So this
city was registered as a municipality 180 years ago yesterday. And in
celebrating the birthday we got some good news too. You see there are 3
major IT Research and development hubs in the world, Silicon valley being
one of them, this is where the best go to look at how gargets can be
manipulated better, but Cisco agreed to build such a Research and
Development center in Toronto, in a class of Silicon valley. Jobs? We are
expecting just under 2,000 jobs in very high end IT research sector. We are
expecting the package to include an infusion of cash from two sectors as
follows, Cisco Systems Inc. is going to invest about $4-billion dollars in
order to bolster its research and development hub in the province and the
province is going to add on another just under $200 million dollars for the
first phase. Cisco is going to build its hub in the core just on the East
side I think about Jarvis and Front Yonge and front area, so we might see
the core underground path moving towards East to accommodate this marvel.
And how about that? If you have a kid with a brain in IT we have the jobs
coming educate them to research on Cisco for the jobs are coming to the
city. In an interview with the press, Robert Lloyd, president of development
and sales. Mr. Lloyd, a native of Winnipeg, is the highest-ranking Canadian
at the technology company and is considered a candidate to one day replace
John Chambers as chief executive officer said and this is a direct quote
“We’re expanding our footprint in downtown Toronto. The people that we’re
hiring right now want to live in a city. The space we’re taking [in Toronto]
is going to allow for those kinds of engineers who want to live and work in
the city, take the subway ... that’s the new work force. They don’t want to
drive up the 407. They want to live an urban lifestyle.” End quote. Friends
this is large as they ever show up and thanks to the Liberals government
that has pushed for this kind of investment for we need the jobs. Happy
180th birth day Toronto.
