The Canada Revenue Agency says the Social Insurance Numbers of 900 Canadians
were compromised thanks to the web-wide Heart bleed security code glitch.
Officials with the CRA say it is analyzing other fragments of data, some
that may relate to businesses, that were also removed from government
computers. The RCMP is investigating. You need to realize that the agency
went off line for a couple of days ago last week and was restarted about
Sunday. I can bet other government agencies will come up with such reports.
This is breaking right now.
