Palestine is Africa not Europe and not North America. In all speeches that were
made in the common wealth I raise the name of Robert Mugabe for he stood up and
raised the Palestine issue with a very clear voice. So we all as African
countries start by throwing a full embargo on the Israel passport. They hold
businesses in all African countries, we shut them down. Israel needs Africa
than Africa needs it. Tell me this how can a country like South Africa lead by
blacks allow Israel to invest into it? Did Israel support blacks at a time? No
it did not they supported the apartheid government may be we need a hand from
South Africa now that it is led by blacks. We can set this ball rolling even
without western countries and without EU sir.
Your passport will not be allowed to come in our country if it has an Israel
stamp, can be a very good start.

Very true Edward but, don't under estimate the power of
hypocrisy and double moral's grip on the EU nad USA!!
See, theywant to block Russia from hosting World Cup Football
Championship but, Israel plays in the European Cup football and
Israel participate in Eurovision Song Contest even after invading
and killing innocent Palestinians.

Friends
All these steps are fine but what can create a true impact on Israel is not
recognizing Palestine, it is throwing a full embargo on Israel and its products
the way we did on South Africa. There are very many products you use in your
house today that are manufactured by Israel companies, just how many times have
you thought of losing them? Money is very important and it hits hard.
And I am not here to plead Palestine cause but when you expand the settlements
as they are doing right now, there has to be a time to take a stand.

Yes.But this is retrieving the Socialdemocratic
Middle East policy back on agenda. The socialdemocratic party has
since the Olof Palme and Sten Andersson era along with
Norge worked hard for Palestinian sovereignty
(recall Nobel Prize to Arafat?!).
However, since the dominace of conservatives in the EU parliament,
not much to that end is realized.
Already there has been wide protest from USA and even from
certain organisations within the EU.
It is a bold declaration but as said, my opinion is that the EU in its present
outfit shall not support it.
We need more red governments in Europe to counter blue dominace in EU.

If true, that would be a positive move in the right direction. With the Swedish
setting the ball rolling, there is a likelihood of other Scandinavian countries
following suit.

I saw this story on the BBC News iPad App and thought you should see it:
Sweden to recognise Palestinian state
Sweden is to "recognise the state of Palestine", Prime Minister Stefan Lofven
says, the first long-term EU member country to do so.
