As all of us that never went to school as Ocen Nekyon do, I was summoned to
go to the national capital this morning and I had to leave in 5 minutes of
the phone call. As my custom always, whenever I go to these cities, I drive
pass our embassy to see how the property is doing. So as soon as I finished
what I was supposed to do in Ottawa I so drove to our embassy for a simple
look at the property. On arriving at the property I was advised that the
embassy move out of the property and it was relocated to some slum of
Ottawa. I have driven to the residence which is also our property and I have
likewise been advised that again the residence was evacuated and the
ambassador resides into some other slum of again Ottawa. And I am using a
term slum for these two premises are located at a high end of the city.
Which raises a couple of questions I need to be guided through :-
A} Why was the embassy moved?
B} Where did it move to?
C} This was a paid property did we lose it for it was sold?
D} In all people we have in Ottawa why is this the very first time this
issue is being raised?
The above three questions refer to the residence as well for our ambassador
is no longer living where he was supposed to be living. Can I kindly get
updated because I am too old for such surprises. Now before you ask me why I
never told you I was in the capital, I left at a notice of 5 minutes, and at
about 4 15pm, that phone call you failed to pick up originated on Bank
Street. Had you picked it up you would have earned yourself a nice lunch.
To those in in Ottawa that have taken care of us we are home and thank you
for very thing.
