And both of them must be raised as wrong people, and that is the tragedy we are
facing in our country, for most of the brains of our people are stuck into one
position, so if you stood and said that Ugandans died during The Luwero war,
you cannot state that Acholi died due to NRA violence yet both statements are
true. . When you state that Acholi murdered people in Luwero you can never
state that NRA murdered people in Luwero yet both statements are true. And look
closely at a very shallow reasoning Barigye is using, Barigye is stating that
if you defended Acholi for the crimes committed to them by NRA, you can never
state that Acholi themselves are violent people, yet both statements are true.
And I have repeatedly reminded many here that the kind of education UPC pumped
into our people must be erased from our country, for it taught them a shallow
reasoning that functions only in a Uganda government office.
And that is why you see that at a time when I was posting the notes about
violence in Acholi region, many UPC members kept on labeling me a true UPC man,
for to their shallow tight reasoning, any one raising the suffering of Acholi
must be a UPC member. And that means if Acholi are violent you cover it up for
you are a UPC member. Go back at what I responded with at their call for me to
be a UPC member, I said that I cannot belong to a Uganda political party, for
it will shut me off. I need a right to point out a right but point out a wrong,
and our people are too uncivilized to do so. That is why when you are a UPC
member and Acholi murder each other in camps, you blame Uganda Army and Iddi
Amin. You never stand up to state that Acholi are violent people even though
the entire scholar class at international level has stated so.
And look Barigye has been consistent that Amin killed people, so that is his
position, but to him stating that UNLF murdered people after 1979, that is a
change of position for you can only say that Amin killed people even though it
is true UNLA also killed people. Akim Odong it is very possible for an Acholi
soldier to attack Nsubuga that does not mean a Muganda soldier can never attack
you. Your reasoning by responding that way, is a very sad reasoning only
belonging to a three piece suit man in a UPC government office.
It just bothers me to understand what kind of garbage education UPC pumped into
these friends. Geez !!!!!!!

Nsubuga;
You have done nothing for Uganda as an individual but Betty has stood up in
difficult times and prescribed to Ugandans what is good for them. But like a
patient who has lost all hope, Ugandans sheeple have resigned to die like real
sheep. Betty K Stood up to be counted. Lakini you Nsubuga have chosen the easy
option; to sit on your hands and sulk!

Contrast this with Betty Kamya who has decided to that it's time she went back
to her old seat of Rubaga North where her former constituents feel they need
her service as MP, and she has therefore decided that she will step down so
that the party may nominate a new leader. She stated that she would like to see
the leadership handed to a capable hand much firmer than hers. I can assure you
that the party is well placed to select such a leader who will go on to
galvanise the opposition like none has done in the last twenty years.
The second point and the most crucial is that Betty Kamya wants to see a change
in the system of governance while Byesigye wants to carry on from where Mu7
will stop. Byesigye has not worked out that Uganda has failed not because of
poor leadership but because of poor system of governance, for which he wants to
see continued. Such visionless leader is one Ugandans should reject because
they are not bringing anything new to the table.
My praise goes out to Betty for her courage to step down and not cling on to
the leadership like Mu7 and Byesigye have done. May she go on to win her old
seat back, for the people of Rubaga, deserve better in this hard time. FDC can
go hang!

FDC / Dr Kizza Besigye,
Like many others, Beti Kamya was very instrumental in laying the foundation of
the FDC party, from its infancy as a pressure group, "Reform Agenda", to where
she left it, a strong and vibrant political party. Beti was one of the
cornerstones and a loyal party cadre until those misunderstandings developed,
leading to her departure. It is understood that at the time, many mistakes
where made by both the FDC party, but also Beti Kamya her self. As they say,
"time heals wounds".
Should Dr. Besigye succeed in being chosen as the coalition's flag bearer, we
believe that the FDC party should transcend any barriers responsible for
maintaining the division, and mend fences to allow Beti's return
unconditionally. Of course the last decision rests with Beti her self, but
we're sure she also realizes that the opposition is better off united than
divided.
Beti, you might argue against this, but you belongs with FDC, and your return
will galvanize the process to uproot the disfunctional regime in power. We're
sure your UFA policies and experience can be accommodated within the FDC party,
but also the wider coalition.
Sincerely
