Akim Odong
As I have stated in very many postings, and trust me I have been in these
forums for a while and Allan Barigye is doing a very saint job of re-posting
what I have stated way back, we are sitting in a pond of bad politicians for
we have failed to change them. And the cycle is bad to this point, Jimmy Akena
has taken over UPC today, few days ago I stated publicly that I was not going
to support him, but do you know why? Because he was too close to The Obote two
government that if he becomes a president we will never hold an inquiry on the
atrocities that was done during Obote two government. To me I do not even care
how crafty he has become a leader I just need him out of leadership so that we
get some one independent of Obote two government to lead the party. That will
give us a chance to critically look at Obote two government and where we failed
but fix it.
I have a problem with Dr Kiiza Besigye and Mbabazi for they comfortably served
in The Movement and Amin’s government that if any of them get to power we will
have no right investigating what happened in Amin let alone The Movement. But
Betty Kamya did serve in The Movement as well. She cannot allow a free
commission to find out what happened in The movement for she was a part in
those atrocities. When we fail to get a leader that can institute a commission
of inquiry in our past, may God help us remain with Yoweri Kaguta Museveni for
life. My God we have raised Banyankole from the poorest peasants to the richest
people on compass and it has taken us 30 years to reach here, now you want us
to start on Bakiga that have not built pit latrines yet?
Ge’ez !!!!!!!!!
Our failure to cut that continuum is the very reason some members of this forum
are stuck on Amin murdered 300,000 people, yet they do not want to hold a
commission of inquiry on Amin’s government. They believe that by blaming Amin
we will cover all our atrocities yet Amin is a very dead man. Akim Odong many
political organizations have been started in Uganda from Mayumba Kummi, to UPC
chairmen, to RCs, to Governors, to you name it, the country is still
deteriorating. Cut the crap of recycling politicians and bring in new brains to
fire up this thing. It does not matter how many sideways you screw Allan
Barigye he swears on the tomb of his dead mother not to hold any commission of
inquiry in Uganda atrocities for it is a very close call for him. Stand up
today and challenge George Okello for a commission on Amin’s government he will
run like a dead man for that commission is a very bad news for him and he knows
it, thus the sticking on Amin murdered half a million people and stop talking
about Amin. Throw all these friends out and start a new but clean plate. Uganda
politics can shrive forward without Museveni, Kiiza Besigye, Muntonyera, Allan
Barigye, Jimmy Akena, Betty Kamya, Mbabazi let alone the Norbert Mao nonsense.

Mulindwa;
that is how clean politics works
Did you say clean politics; in Uganda? What a hypocrite! Have you seen soldiers
harassing voters at the polling station in Canada your adopted country?
Contrast that with what we have in Uganda.
You have lived in both countries and cannot tell which is clean politics and
which is dirty politics. You cannot tell the difference in benefit btw a
federal system and a unitary system.
You have lived a dirty life to the extent that you cannot differentiate,
dirtiness from cleanliness; fair system to unfair system. Man, what sort of
dead brain are you carrying on your neck?
I feel dizzy, i gotta sleep

The woman stood and she lost, at that point we move on and select someone else,
that is how clean politics works. I get tired of politicians that fail to move
from offices and here is a good example
Kiiza Besigye
Betty Kamya
Yoweri Museveni
Amama Mbabazi.
Do you need more?

Contrast this with Betty Kamya who has decided to that it's time she went back
to her old seat of Rubaga North where her former constituents feel they need
her service as MP, and she has therefore decided that she will step down so
that the party may nominate a new leader. She stated that she would like to see
the leadership handed to a capable hand much firmer than hers. I can assure you
that the party is well placed to select such a leader who will go on to
galvanise the opposition like none has done in the last twenty years.
The second point and the most crucial is that Betty Kamya wants to see a change
in the system of governance while Byesigye wants to carry on from where Mu7
will stop. Byesigye has not worked out that Uganda has failed not because of
poor leadership but because of poor system of governance, for which he wants to
see continued. Such visionless leader is one Ugandans should reject because
they are not bringing anything new to the table.
My praise goes out to Betty for her courage to step down and not cling on to
the leadership like Mu7 and Byesigye have done. May she go on to win her old
seat back, for the people of Rubaga, deserve better in this hard time. FDC can
go hang!

FDC / Dr Kizza Besigye,
Like many others, Beti Kamya was very instrumental in laying the foundation of
the FDC party, from its infancy as a pressure group, "Reform Agenda", to where
she left it, a strong and vibrant political party. Beti was one of the
cornerstones and a loyal party cadre until those misunderstandings developed,
leading to her departure. It is understood that at the time, many mistakes
where made by both the FDC party, but also Beti Kamya her self. As they say,
"time heals wounds".
Should Dr. Besigye succeed in being chosen as the coalition's flag bearer, we
believe that the FDC party should transcend any barriers responsible for
maintaining the division, and mend fences to allow Beti's return
unconditionally. Of course the last decision rests with Beti her self, but
we're sure she also realizes that the opposition is better off united than
divided.
Beti, you might argue against this, but you belongs with FDC, and your return
will galvanize the process to uproot the disfunctional regime in power. We're
sure your UFA policies and experience can be accommodated within the FDC party,
but also the wider coalition.
Sincerely
