Excellent, thanks for doing this. My only comment is I didn't know
what the word "elided" meant. ;) I do not recall ever seeing it
before. But I looked it up, and you are using it correctly. But
"omitted" might be in more people's vocabularies. :)

Oops, that must be my linguistics background. Linguists say that the
stuff that's missing in an eliptic construction has been elided. I
didn't know this wasn't part of regular, everyday English ;-)
