Did anyone give https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/UIMA-1095 a try? Any

thoughts on it?

I looked through the code.

The MarkupAnnotator could be useful for many UIMA users,
including me. Maybe it would be nice if its possible to configure
the types used for markup.
