I think it's best to build from source right now. Joern is
making improvements all the time. The CAS Editor will be
part of the next release which may still happen this summer :-)
You can download the 2.2.2 distribution from our download page:
http://incubator.apache.org/uima/downloads.cgi
If you want to have a short look over it you should try the current release,
though the current head version has a few important improvements which
make using it for an annotation project more practical.
