UKNOF17 presentation slides are now available linked to from the main
meeting agenda page, a final version of which is available at:

        http://www.uknof.org.uk/uknof17/agenda.html

More slides will be added as they are received.

As usual, we're planning remote participation via video+audio webcast
and IM, video will be available at:

        http://uknof.bogons.net/uknof17.html

There will meeting chatrooms via IRC on #uknof at irc.terahertz.net and
xmpp:[email protected], however please note there are some
firewall restrictions on outgoing traffic via Edinburgh University's
network (*), and IRC may not work - the University recommends use of
VPNs if you're planning any "non-standard" network traffic.

We have two social events planned for the evening before and after the
meeting - this evening's curry dinner will be at the Mother India Cafe:

        http://www.motherindiaglasgow.co.uk/index.php?action=cms.edin

a few blocks away in Infirmary Street, opposite the University Old
College. If you're staying at the Ibis and don't know how to get to the
restaurant, please meet up in the hotel lobby at 19:30, otherwise see
you at the curry house at 20:00. Note this dinner is not sponsored, but
we have negotiated a fixed price menu for GBP20 (excluding drinks) per
person.

Thank You to Subhi Hashwa for arranging this dinner.

We are still confirming somewhere to spend our benefactor's drinks
sponsor money tomorrow evening - this will be at a nearby bar, more
information during the meeting.

You can find meeting venue location and directions at;

Finally, I would once again like to thank our hosts, The University of
Edinburgh School of Informatics, and our sponsors, IP Performance and
Flexiant, for making this meeting possible; and to Portfast and Bogons
for providing the webcast.

Safe travels, and look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow,

Keith
