I am curious to know whether the membership of uknof are expecting any surprises to develop from the sale of 4G spectrum.
Will it be dominated by the incumbents? Will the operators (and indirectly their customers) end up footing a huge bill or will the Treasury be disappointed? Will we see some unlikely alliances emerge? A lot of people think LTE is pointless given that 3G deployment has been disappointing for many, but personally I hope LTE on 800Mhz will mean now neglected extra-urban areas might actually get useful service.
