Hi James, As a veteran of LINX events, I can assure you that finding someone to have a beer with in the evening is not a significant problem... in fact it is easier than falling off a slippery log.
The challenge is not pulling the pin out the grenade, getting totally smashed on the endless free beer and sponsored rounds of shots, then not being fit to shovel the proverbial the next morning, let alone pay attention to the day 2 sessions... Not of course that that has ever happened to me, I am always safely tucked up by about 8pm... honest. Regards...
