Interestingly it was a LINX meeting that probably made me realise I drank too
much/couldn't handle my beer* Since that meeting I don't think I've ever been
drunk since ever. Somehow I made it home - couldn't remember anything other
than dreadful food and something about a keg of beer.

Luckily for me Ivan was on hand like Grissom from CSI Lets be careful out there.

Hi James,

As a veteran of LINX events, I can assure you that finding someone to have a
beer with in the evening is not a significant problem... in fact it is easier
than falling off a slippery log.

The challenge is not pulling the pin out the grenade, getting totally smashed
on the endless free beer and sponsored rounds of shots, then not being fit to
shovel the proverbial the next morning, let alone
pay attention to the day 2 sessions...

Not of course that that has ever happened to me, I am always safely tucked up
by about 8pm... honest.

Regards... Ben

Evening all,

LINX80 is next week, is anyone here going? Presumably a fair few!

I will be attending. It will be my first LINX meeting and I'll be on
my own, so i'll be looking for a friendly face or two. If anyone wants
to meet up for a coffee at the break times or a beer in the evening,
drop me an email :)

See you there.
Cheers,
James.
