If I was more than even 10% sure it was the supplier at fault, I would ask them directly and privately.
Having worked at an ISP, many times the customer asks if there is a problem and it turns out to be their misconfiguration or some internal problem. I am working on the assumption that this time it's me as a customer who's at fault! I apologise to Gyron if I have inadvertently and unfairly given a negative impression by asking the question. I could have worded my original question much better!
