FWIW I agree. My recent posts were comments on Virgin Media's NTEs, I don't see how that is an invitation to anyone to sell us anything. If however I'd asked for recommendations for optical gear or even been ranting that I want to fix our network with a chainsaw then ADVA's approach might have been of interest.
I should also add that I don't mind being approached by vendors at a meeting as long as they respect "I'm not interested thanks".
