Funnily enough, we might be about to inherit one. We have a customer who exited the data centre some while ago, but put their BT TDM Interconnect into a quarter rack to they could keep it for further use. I've tried to contact them this morning: their website is down, their landline doesn't reply, their account is in arrears and the mobile of our contact comes up Unknown Number. So it sounds like they have just recently gone phut. In the meantime, there is a perfectly good BT Interconnect connected to nothing and looking sorry for itself, which will last until BT work out that their bill isn't being paid either.
No idea how the commercials/legals would work, but there is an opportunity. It's in the City Lifeline data centre in central London, see www.city-lifeline.co.uk. If that sounds like it would work for you, please contact me off-board at [email protected]. I am looking to acquire one and seems daft to get bt to setup a new intercon= nect when a number of companies are moving away from these. I have spoken to= BT and they are happy to transfer the contract onto a new company as long a= s both parties agree. Anyone who is or knows anyone who might be able to assist please get in touc= h.
