I'm going to take a guess that will be the nuclear power that France still has oodles of? It's supposedly not green, but still looks like a key part of what we need to be doing. The impact of the Tohoku earthquake has been to scare people needlessly away from it. Power in France is also a lot cheaper, especially in the quantities that datacentres buy. Companies are therefore moving datacentre capacity to France. Back to the subject of Iceland, hydro power isn't necessarily as green as you think. The dams may not produce CO2 once built, but they do have an impact on their immediate environment. Turbines are not kind to fish, then you have to consider the valley(s) that were flooded, and the alteration of the flow of the river downstream.
