Likewise here. I was once told it wouldn't work but I've never had any problems with it. Ditto QinQ and other 'business' requirements (though having handover tags repeat per cable link, per exchange can be a bit of a pain for re-writing.

Off topic, but never have understood why OR don't stack switches on their side, instead requiring CPs to purchase £2k cable links to each FTTC handover switch, of which there can be many per exchange (especially as after the first link, additional links are just a patch cable). <conspiracy theory> some suggest that this could be a money making venture </conspiracy theory> I'm sure there's a sound technical reason, but again, it disadvantages smaller CPs disproportionately who may only have a few customers on each switch.
