Hi Mark, Where we have kit then it’s a loopback on something of ours, or the IP of the adjacent provider’s kit for transits. For the geographic ones, they are chosen at pseudo-random by some of our engineers who get the task of finding / replacing targets as they come and go. The geo ones are more to give a general view of things (like when a whole country has issues then they can look for a common provider in the traces etc.). It’s just grown over the years really...
